We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate nurse to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist 2 in Sexual Health, you will provide safe and expert care to patients with sexually transmitted infections and blood borne viruses.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with a diverse range of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with STIs and BBVs.
Your Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage complex patient cases, developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide expert advice and support to clients at risk of or presenting with STIs and BBVs, ensuring they receive comprehensive care and follow-up services.
- Certified Registered Nurse with current registration and AHPRA membership.
- Post-registration qualifications in a specialty field with at least 3 years' experience and ability to undertake further studies in Sexual Health and HIV.
- Advanced knowledge of transmission and prevention of STIs and BBVs, including viral hepatitis and harm minimisation principles.
