Commercial Development Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Victoria, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing the commercial business in the education segment, particularly in Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Position the business as the IT brand and vendor of choice in the Victoria Education segment.
- Find and win new business with previous Channel development experience.
- Build strategic relationships with targeted accounts and maximise business penetration in existing accounts.
- Conduct market analysis of the Education segment and develop the appropriate sales strategy.
- Set and monitor sales performance indicators to ensure effective execution of business plan, in line with the organisation's business objectives.
- Achieve agreed Education sales targets.
- Manage all Sales-related activities in the allocated market segment.
About You:
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate would be self-motivated, customer-focused, enthusiastic, and results-oriented. Key requirements include:
- Previous experience/knowledge of the Education sector.
- Experience as a sales professional in the IT industry, preferably PC/hardware sales.
- Previous experience with resellers and channel partners who do business in the education sector.
- Proven track record in sales strategy implementation and delivery of results.
- Knowledge of the IT industry and product trends.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
