Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team at Joint Logistic Unit (North Queensland). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the end-to-end supply chain processes for repairable items.
About the Role
This role will involve supervision and leadership, coaching and training of a small team. You will be responsible for coordinating the workflow of the team, including monitoring work practices, setting priorities within the work area, and developing local procedures.
Key Responsibilities

- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on moderately complex operational and administrative matters;
- Assist in the delivery of projects under the direction of higher classification levels;
- C coach employees, identify training needs, provide quality assurance of work and the provision of constructive feedback on performance;
- Contribute new ideas and maximise the benefits of change, including the identification of opportunities to improve the efficiency of business processes.

Requirements
- Experience in a similar role, in particular logistics, warehousing and/or inventory;
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and innovative;
- Good interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders on moderately complex operational and administrative matters;
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to prioritise a changing workload and negotiate an outcome;
- Ability to coordinate the workflow of a small team, including monitor work practices, set priorities within the work area, and develop local procedures.
