Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Townsville. As a key member of our purchasing team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all purchasing processes are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase requisitions, including associated approvals/authorisations for purchase orders
  • Work with the Purchasing Team to maintain high work standards and continually improve work practices and procedures enabling the purchasing of goods and services to meet customer service expectations
  • Review purchasing/supply quotes and seek alternatives on appropriate alternatives to reduce overall cost to the business
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in a high performing team environment
  • Adhere to compliance with accounting policies, procedures, strategies and systems in such a way that audit requirements are met and adverse business impacts are mitigated
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing and a strong command of SAP. You must have excellent communication and collaboration skills and be able to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
