The Australian Government Department of Defence is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Operations Coordinator to support the end-to-end supply chain processes for repairable items at Joint Logistic Unit (North Queensland).

This role involves consultation with internal and external stakeholders, including military personnel, fleet managers, and industry partners providing warehousing and maintenance services.

Key responsibilities include supervision and leadership, coaching and training of a small team, analysis and management of large data sets, and utilisation of spreadsheets and reports.

The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, warehousing, and/or inventory, as well as strong time management skills, ability to prioritise a changing workload, and negotiate an outcome.

They will also be able to contribute new ideas, maximise the benefits of change, and identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of business processes.
