
Aboriginal Health Research Project Officer

The University of Queensland is committed to increasing opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through its Reconciliation Action Plan and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment Strategy.
This project aims to support the sexual health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. As a research project officer, you will work in collaboration with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations to conduct research and data collection within these communities.
Key responsibilities:- Conduct research and data collection to inform strategies that maximise health outcomes for communities
- Develop reports on the research findings to ensure effective implementation of health initiatives
- Must be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person with experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities in a health context
