About the OpportunityThis role involves working closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to enhance health outcomes.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our research team in conducting data collection and reporting on the research findings to maximise health benefits for the community.
The successful candidate will have experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities in a health context, and be passionate about furthering their research career or pursuing their academic pathway.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and data collection within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Report on the research findings to inform evidence-based decision-making
You will be part of a dedicated team led by Professor James Ward, working collaboratively to increase awareness of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV, and other blood-borne viruses (BBVs) in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities in a health context
- A strong passion for research and academic pursuits
