
Indigenous Health Research Officer

We are seeking a Research Project Officer to join our team in Indigenous Health. The successful candidate will work on exciting research projects to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The role involves conducting research and data collection within these communities, reporting on the findings to maximize health outcomes. We are looking for a skilled professional who is passionate about working with Mob to make a positive impact.
This is an opportunity to be part of a vibrant team led by one of Australia's leading Indigenous researchers, Professor James Ward. You will have the chance to work on high-impact projects that aim to increase awareness of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV, and other blood-borne viruses (BBVs) in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities in a health context
- Research skills and experience in data collection and analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Up to 26 weeks paid parental leave or 14 weeks paid primary caregiver leave
