Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and professional WHSEQ Compliance Advisor to join our team. Reporting to the National WHS Operations Manager, this role will assist the WHSEQ Compliance team in achieving and maintaining compliance with external certifications and strategic directions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Business Management System support to the WHSEQ Department
- Assist with WHSEQ administration tasks and register maintenance
- Conduct internal Business Management and Project Management System audits as required
- Support the facilitation of external audits, OFSC audits, and reporting requirements
- Maintain company licenses and certifications, and communicate legislative updates to stakeholders
- Support the compliance team in the continual improvement process
- Assist in developing and maintaining WHSEQ data
- Support the WHSEQ Team in preparing monthly WHSEQ Board Reports and other required reports
- Monitor and manage the WHSEQ email inbox and raise concerns with stakeholders
- Support in preparing training presentations and materials
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Management System Audit Qualifications
- Certificate IV WHS
- Able to obtain Australian Defence Force (ADF) Defence Common Access Card (DCAC) Clearance and Police Check
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Understanding of WHSEQ principles and their application, including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001
- Australian Driver's Licence
- Construction Industry White Card
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication skills, management system audit qualifications, and a strong understanding of WHSEQ principles. You will also be able to obtain the necessary clearances and possess the required certifications.
