Compliance Coordinator - Fire Safety

Ventia is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Coordinator to join our team in Adelaide. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with MBS-002, specifically regarding the generation and on-time submission of the Form 3 to relevant building owners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with key subject matter experts to become the AGFMA SME representative.
  • Develop an Improvement Plan for approval by the Ventia Health Leadership team, including:
    • Form 3 requirements identification.
    • Developing a suitable Form 3 process.
    • Implementing cost-effective systems to support the process.
  • Develop associated documentation for process rollout and training.
  • Identify Form 3 Training requirements.
  • Deliver the Improvement Plan.
  • Review and report on improvement opportunities post-rollout.
  • Deliver improvements to the process.
  • Provide handover following completion of the above.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in a relevant discipline (e.g. Fire Safety Systems Compliance and Audit).
  • Experience in interpreting relevant legislation and policies.
  • Experience in a regulation and compliance environment.
  • Strong understanding of AS1851-2012 and its application in Class 9a buildings.
  • Beneficial to have a strong understanding of Ministerial Building Standard MBS-002.
  • Current Driver Licence and ability to travel.
