Lead Clinical Consultant

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Clinical Consultant to deliver exceptional, client-focused services to individuals with varying care requirements. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, from short-term interventions to comprehensive long-term support.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize standardized assessments, interviews, and observational techniques to gather essential information.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and key stakeholders to conduct thorough assessments.
- Establish realistic, functional, and individualized goals based on assessment results and priorities.
- Design tailored treatment and therapy plans to address the unique needs of children, adolescents, and adults with diverse presentations.
- Monitor and assess progress, making necessary adjustments to plans as required.
- Provide guidance, education, and support to families, educators, and other professionals involved in the care process.
- Deliver training in critical areas such as communication strategies, mealtime management, and engagement techniques.
- Engage in additional duties as needed.
- Assume senior consultant responsibilities, including participation in complex clinical allocations.
- Contribute to intricate projects, including multi-agency collaborations and systemic interventions.
- Mentor and coach the consultant team, ensuring alignment with approved clinician development frameworks.
- Maintain regular communication with the Leadership Team regarding team strengths and development needs.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to implement and monitor relevant practice standards and quality improvement measures.
- A degree in Speech Pathology with certified practicing membership in Speech Pathology Australia is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is essential.
- Experience or a keen interest in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex needs is preferred.
- Experience or interest in conducting communication assessments and treatment planning for diverse age groups is advantageous.
Compensation: Salary ranges from A$80,000 to A$90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
