Job Title: Acquisition Development Lead

About the Role:

DHA seeks a skilled Acquisition Development Lead to oversee the acquisition of development sites, supporting DHA's housing needs for ADF members and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct complex feasibility analysis to identify development opportunities.
  • Provide detailed recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Apply highly developed analytical and negotiation skills to resolve issues and manage risk.
  • Coordinate a range of activities with independence while working as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking, project management, and strong communication.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in residential land acquisition and construction.
  • Advanced knowledge of urban planning frameworks governing development.
  • Extensive knowledge of due diligence and property financing criteria.
  • Strong negotiation, risk management, and stakeholder relationship skills.
