Job Opportunity

Truecare Support Services is seeking experienced and caring individuals to support people with complex needs. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be working directly with clients in their homes or community settings, providing personal care and daily living assistance.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently. Previous experience in mental health support, challenging behavior, and disability services is highly desirable.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing individualized support and care to clients
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Engaging in physical and recreational activities with clients
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • Certificate III/IV in Disability Studies or Certificate IV in Ageing Support
  • Working with Mental Health Experience
  • Experience in Challenging Behaviour
  • Previous experience in the aged care and disability fields in a comparable position
  • COVID-19 infection control certificate
  • Current insurance on private vehicle (to be used for work purposes)
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Current Police/NDIS Screening Check
