About the Role

As a Disability Employment Services Employment Consultant at Advanced Personnel Management (APM), you will play a pivotal role in supporting our participants (job seekers) to transform their lives. Reporting to the Business Manager at our APM office, you will work closely with stakeholders, including employers and our participants, to deliver tailored employment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and Secure Employment Opportunities: Collaborate with local employers to secure job opportunities for participants, ensuring a seamless transition into the workforce.
  • Support Job Readiness: Assist participants in identifying their skills and developing a plan to become job-ready, enhancing their employability.
  • Deliver Quality Service: Provide exceptional service while adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements, ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Enhance Employability: Offer training and support services to participants, referring them to relevant resources to enhance their employability.
  • Develop Personalized Job Plans: Create tailored job plans for participants, outlining clear employment pathways and goals.
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with local employers, community groups, and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment.
Requirements:
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A MyGovID (Standard level)
  • Willingness to complete a National Police Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Available to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
