Job Summary:

Workforce Australia for Individuals is seeking a skilled Vocational Specialist to join our team. As a Vocational Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges to achieve meaningful employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 20 individuals, working closely with our clinical team to understand each client's strengths and skills.
  • Help clients identify and secure suitable roles and necessary education or training, while providing ongoing mentoring and post-placement support.
  • Develop and maintain networks and communication pathways with community members, service providers, and prospective employers.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Working Arrangements:

This part-time role involves working on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, allowing you to engage with our clinicians and attend daily review meetings.
