Project Officer

Our organisation is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Officer to join our team in central Australia. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a vital role in the success of our projects, working closely with our support and project teams to deliver impactful results.

  • Facilitate workshops, on-country picnics & overnight camps in remote communities.
  • Support women to lead prevention & healing activities in remote communities.
  • Work alongside the support and project team to deliver projects that make a tangible difference in the lives of women and families in central Australia.
  • Share community insights to strengthen culturally safe practice.
  • Contribute to evaluation & project growth.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing coordination and administrative support for projects and initiatives across multiple locations.
  • Developing and implementing project plans, timelines and budgets.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on project progress.
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration between project stakeholders.
  • Identifying and managing risks and issues related to project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in areas of Project Management, Community Development, Social Work and/or experience in group facilitation.
  • Experience in project coordination & community development.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed & strengths-based practice.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
