Occupational Therapist Position in Transitional Aged Care

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in a transitional aged care setting. This role will involve providing comprehensive and appropriate occupational therapy assessment and intervention for patients/clients of the Northern NSW Local Health District.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and broaden their experience with diverse pathways. Their key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing occupational therapy services to patients/clients in a transitional aged care environment
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to promote functional independence and well-being
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
