Remote Legal Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate legal professional to join our education-based initiative in Central Australia.

  • Deliver legal support directly to students and families in remote communities
  • Work partly onsite at Centralian Senior College
  • Travel for outreach programs to regional schools
  • Create and deliver tailored legal education programs
  • Collaborate closely with school wellbeing teams

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our diverse and values-led legal team to make a real difference for young people experiencing legal disadvantage.

Requirements:
  • Eligible to hold a Northern Territory Practising Certificate
  • Experience (or interest) in youth, family, or community law
  • Passion for working in non-traditional settings
  • Understanding of DFSV, First Nations, and CALD communities
  • Strong communicator, team player, and trauma-informed mindset

About the Role:

We are looking for someone who can contribute to our innovative legal program that supports disadvantaged youth. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in working with vulnerable populations, and a commitment to social justice.

As a Remote Legal Support Specialist, you will work with our team to design and implement effective legal support programs for students and families in remote areas. You will also collaborate with school wellbeing teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
