Role Management Specialist

This role leads the Identity and Access Technology teams in designing and implementing access management solutions across various strategic identity platforms. The primary focus areas include role management lifecycle, policy maintenance, and segregation of duties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the role framework for adoption/enforcement across applicable platforms, identifying opportunities to reduce manual submission effort, and delivering actionable insights related to outlier access, overlapping access, and predictive analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the Role Framework: Develop a comprehensive role framework that ensures adoption/enforcement across all applicable strategic identity platforms.
  • Simplify Role Estate: Drive a simplified role estate using data-driven insights to reduce stale or redundant access/roles.
  • Enhance Efficiency: Proactively identify opportunities to reduce manual submission effort across business units and technology teams.
  • Policy Development: Aid in defining and challenging proposed policies, specifically related to segregation of duties/toxic access combinations.
  • Legacy Policy Review: Aid in addressing legacy policies that exist across one or more platforms.
  • Actionable Insights: Deliver actionable insights related to outlier access, overlapping access, and predictive analytics.
  • Data Quality: Highlight and address data inconsistencies related to requestable or birthright/pre-approved access.
  • Audit and Compliance: Input into assurance test case development and technology roadmaps.

We are interested in hearing from people who:

  • Have demonstrated technical and people leadership skills, having managed large workforces.
  • Have strong identity and access management experience, including typical lifecycle processes and key technologies.
  • Have strong knowledge of access models, fine and coarse grain entitlement relationships, etc.
  • Can deliver frameworks aligned with internal policies and industry standards.
  • Have the ability to integrate and interrogate large datasets and translate to 'business' insight.
  • Have deep knowledge of business processes, specifically related to banking, to aid with segregation of duties (SoD) policy development.
  • Have experience with audit, compliance, and risk functions.
  • Have very strong written and communication skills.
