Market Access Strategist

Job Summary:

The Market Access Strategist will play a key role in driving market access and reimbursement strategies for our company's products. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify challenges, generate evidence, and assess commercial viability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement market access and reimbursement strategies for new products.
  • Conduct commercial viability assessments and provide strategic advice on pricing assumptions.
  • Lead the development of preliminary reimbursement strategies and make recommendations to the Market Access Leadership Team (MALT) on timing and allocation of Market Access resources.
  • Provide input into clinical trial design based on a strong understanding of critical success factors for reimbursement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in life sciences and/or health economics.
  • Post-graduate degree in health economics, epidemiology or health sciences would be an advantage.
  • At least 3 years' experience relevant to market access/health economics and outcomes research (HEOR).
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including strong knowledge of local regulations and processes, is desirable.

As a skilled Market Access Strategist, you will have a results-focused mindset and excellent interpersonal effectiveness, project & time management skills, and expert attention to detail. You will also possess technical capabilities in the assessment of clinical data, health economics, including submissions and outcomes research; literate in the use of economic modelling approaches.
