Job Title: Senior Procurement Officer

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of end-to-end procurement and sourcing processes
  • Providing trusted advice and managing complex sourcing activities
  • Building stakeholder relationships and influencing others using diplomacy and tact

The ideal candidate will possess strong professional judgment, adaptability, and an apolitical approach, with a commitment to upholding core Parliamentary values: integrity, accountability, respect, and excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in procurement ensuring best value for money, managing complex contracts and maintaining probity throughout the process
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, providing expert procurement and contract management advice to stakeholders
  • Excellent written communication skills, preparing complex procurement and technical documents
  • Strong research, analytical, and conceptual skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (Power BI experience is a plus)
