Support Worker for People with Disabilities
We are seeking two reliable and passionate support workers to join our team in supporting individuals with disabilities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Work within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client.
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, including shopping, domestic duties, and meal preparation.
- Provide support with social, life admin, and recreational activities.
- Observe, care for, and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client.
- Respond to emergency situations.
Essential Criteria:
- Manual handling and hoisting experience.
- Experience working with mental health and physical disability.
- Certificate III in Individual Support - Disability or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
- Availability for some nights and weekends.
- NDIS Worker Screening including Blue Card (or equivalent).
- One year + experience (preferably community).
