Job Description

We cater for both home services and community services, upholding the values of care and respect for individuals we support. Our dynamic team is growing rapidly and seeks like-minded individuals who can assist us in fostering personal development.

The role involves providing individual support to people with disabilities, enabling them to engage with others and perform daily living tasks. You will be part of a team delivering care to clients in their homes or shared accommodation, or supporting participants in community activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Personal Care, medication assistance, and activities of daily living
  • Supporting individuals with disabilities, despite potential barriers
  • Treating everyone with respect, being polite, listening, and supporting goal achievement
  • Working in accordance with organisational policies and procedures to maintain professional boundaries
  • Positive communication and reinforcement when working with participants
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Cert III in Disability Support or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience desirable, but training provided for the right candidate
  • Valid driver licence and reliable vehicle
  • NDIS Worker screening check (all modules or willing to obtain)
  • First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Yellow card (or willing to obtain)
  • Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain)
  • Flu Vaccination
  • Full Covid Vaccination proof required
  • Be organised, flexible, and reliable
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
