Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a professional and friendly Customer Service Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every interaction is positive and leaves a lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to a diverse range of customers via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately process transactions, manage cash handling, and balance financial records.
  • Enquiry Handling: Respond to customer enquiries, resolve issues, and provide information on council services and policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualification in customer engagement or business administration and experience in a high-volume customer service and/or contact centre team role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with customers, staff, and members of the public.
  • Teamwork: A team player with good people skills who understands how to build strong working relationships.
  • Computer Skills: Well-developed computer skills and adaptability in using a variety of computerised systems.
