About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Civil Operations to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will lead and direct a small team within our Civil Assets Maintenance section, responsible for undertaking roads and drainage works in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct a team of Civil Operations Asset Maintenance staff
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols
  • Coordinate and manage daily operations, including plant and equipment maintenance and repair
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and projects
Requirements
  • Good knowledge and experience in civil operations and asset maintenance functions and day labour activities
  • Ability to work within a team environment and lead by example
  • Previous experience in supervising and training staff, with a focus on safety and quality
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in operating plant and equipment, with a strong understanding of maintenance and repair procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Relevant certificate or working towards a certificate in a related field
