Executive Director Credit Risk Management

The bank is seeking an experienced professional to update its large exposure framework in line with Basel standards and associated systems. As a Senior Credit Risk Executive, you will represent credit policy in key decisions, support business process reviews, and provide expert advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent credit risk as a subject matter expert and facilitate decision-making.
- Review and approve project documents to ensure compliance with credit risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in identifying relevant controls to meet APS 221 obligations.
- Lead the development of trusted relationships with internal/external professionals for optimal outcomes.
Skill Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in banking or financial services, with expertise in credit decisioning and policy writing.
- Knowledge of institutional and business lending regulations.
- Proven ability to deliver strategic and operational plans, with skills in problem-solving and decision-making.
- People management, training, and coaching skills.
- Agile mentality, with willingness to contribute across multiple programs/projects.
