About this role:

Director of Credit Risk and Lending Strategy

We are seeking a seasoned Director to lead our credit risk management efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing credit risk strategies that drive business growth while ensuring the company's financial stability.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive credit risk management plans to optimize lending portfolio performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and launch innovative credit products that meet evolving customer needs.

  • Maintain strong relationships with balance sheet partners, investors, and regulators, providing transparent communication on credit performance and risk management.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies that impact our credit risk framework and lending products.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in fintech, lending, or credit cards.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to drive credit risk strategy and acquisition underwriting for credit cards or unsecured loans.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills using advanced data analytics, machine learning, and customer performance data to solve business problems.

  • Proven ability to communicate complex analysis insights and recommendations to senior management.

  • Experience leading high-performing credit and risk management teams within a data-driven culture.
