This is an opportunity to work as a Supervisor on a high-rise Commercial project, coordinating on-site teams and ensuring the delivery of relevant scopes of work in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of work methods and short-term construction programs
  • Complete progress reporting, activities reports for shift handovers and regular reporting to the Superintendent or Project Manager
  • Review design documentation, read drawings and provide constructive review and implementing of final designs
  • Identify and mitigate risks prior to works commencing, communicate with stakeholders to control risk and contribute to build a risk management culture
  • Train and develop leading hands and ensure observance of safety, other work standards and industrial agreements
Requirements:
  • Trade qualification or equivalent
  • Significant experience in a Supervisor or Leading Hand role with high-rise Commercial projects
  • Skill in review of design documents and ability to understand drawings, provide constructability review and implement final design plans
  • People and Performance Management of subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour
