Senior Geospatial Specialist

Pipe Management Australia is a leading Utilities Maintenance Company with over 10 years of experience.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geospatial Specialist to join our Technical Services team, based out of our Stapylton or Rocklea office, with willingness to do intrastate and interstate travel on a need's basis.

The successful candidate will be passionate about all things geospatial and have the ability to communicate technical information to stakeholders.

  • Provide support for cartographic design and high-quality map production in Esri product solutions.
  • Evaluate data acquired from clients.
  • Manage individual datasets regarding database setup, transfer to AGOL.
  • Provide quality control regarding Stormwater and Sewer Assets captured using Field Maps.
  • Create quality products for the Handover process.
  • Perform spatial analysis and create information products from the Esri Suite.
  • Manipulate Spatial data to create information products meeting Stormwater and Sewer Data Capture Standards.
  • Assist in designing and implementing training plans for Field and Office Staff.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems experienced with software use.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and take personal responsibility for tasks.
  • Experience with FME software.
  • Python Coding Experience (desired but not essential).
  • Strong workplace communication skills - oral, written, and presentation - including conveying clear information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in reactive environments and adapt to changing priorities.
