Site Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team on Groote Eylandt, in the Gulf of Carpentaria or FIFO ex Darwin or Cairns. This is a rare opportunity to live and work in an amazing tropical environment, while enjoying state-of-the-art facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the village, including catering, cleaning, logistics, and transport of operations onsite. They will also drive consistent operational performance, quality, cost, people capability, and performance, while fostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of the Village (750 rooms) including catering, cleaning and logistics and transport of operations onsite
  • Maintaining consistent operational performance, driving quality, cost, people capability and performance
  • Driving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performance
  • Fostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong and decisive leadership skills with ability to build effective and engaged teams
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships and project deadlines
  • Strong financial and analytical skills in developing budgets and allocating appropriate resources to ensure a sustainable and profitable business
  • Proven management experience in the hospitality field, ideally within a Catering and or Accommodation services environment
