Driving Inclusion and Diversity in the Workplace

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Director to lead the development of inclusion programs and pathways, enabling individuals to thrive in a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Coaching

The successful candidate will lead, coach, and mentor a busy team, delivering on competing priorities and managing improvement initiatives and resources.

2. Inclusion Program Development

They will work with stakeholders to develop strategies to increase inclusion and diversity, embedding equity into HR functions and ensuring staff feel they belong and can be their authentic selves.

3. Stakeholder Engagement

The Assistant Director will engage with internal personnel and networks, fostering strong relationships and communicating effectively at all levels of the organisation.

4. Other Duties

They will contribute to the achievement of departmental Diversity and Inclusion goals, working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent leadership and people management skills

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement experience, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.

Strategic thinking, agility, and flexibility in a dynamic environment, with a proven track record of delivering results-oriented solutions.

Mandatory Requirements:

A Baseline (protected) security clearance is required for this position.
