Professionals in maintenance engineering are required to deliver technical support for complex defence projects. This position involves hands-on experience from concept to delivery and learning from a high-calibre team with excellent benefits and professional development opportunities.

 

The role requires individuals who possess technical expertise in electronics or relevant disciplines, along with experience in the maintenance of air traffic management systems and/or aircraft systems. Additionally, knowledge of RAAF engineering and/or maintenance systems and procedures is essential.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialist maintenance services on-site and off-site
  • Ensuring compliance with maintenance requirements as per contract specifications
  • Preparing reports and attending to customer requests
  • Supporting program compliance with ADATS Maintenance Management Plan
  • Performing installation and testing activities for engineering change proposals
  • Providing on-the-job training to customers as required

 

To excel in this position, candidates must possess a tertiary qualification in electronics or a relevant engineering discipline. They should also have solid experience in WHS practices related to working outdoors, at heights, on electronic equipment, and in office environments.
