Wagners Composite Fibre Technologies Manufacturing group is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Strategist to oversee and optimize the entire supply chain process.

This full-time position, based at our national corporate office in Wellcamp, Toowoomba, offers a competitive remuneration package including a base salary of approximately $120,000 per annum.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics principles, and transportation management systems. Strong understanding of international trade laws, customs procedures, and documentation is also essential. Excellent problem-solving, analytics, and organisational skills are required, as well as strong leadership and team-building abilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement supply chain strategies, manage procurement processes, identify and mitigate risks.
  • Logistics and Transportation: Oversee transportation and distribution networks, optimise routing and shipping methods, liaise with carriers, report on performance.
  • Import/Export Operations: Manage international shipping, comply with trade regulations, collaborate with customs brokers and government agencies.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have relevant qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on logistics and import/export, is also required.
