**JOB SUMMARY**

Reviewing complex customer specifications is a key part of the role, necessary to fully understand the scope of a project and to meet customers expectations effectively.

The role requires working with the various departments domestically and internationally to ensure that the designed/offered solution meets the customer’s needs.

Good face to face and electronic communication skills are required to liaise with customers, vendors and other departments in the business including Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Accounts and Production.

NOV Australia manufacture and supply pumps and mixers into a wide range of industries such as agricultural, general industrial, waste water, mining, food and beverage, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical so a good understanding and knowledge base of these industries would be beneficial.

You will need to have excellent time management and organizational skills and have the ability to manage multiple jobs and functions at once.

A high level of attention to detail is also critical to the success of this role.

Familiarity with CRM tools (such as Microsoft D365) and ERP software (Oracle JD Edwards) also highly desirable

To be successful you will ideally have an Engineering Degree and preferably experience in a similar position with at least 3 years of experience managing and growing a team

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage teams’ inquiries and quotes through CRM tool and follow up with regular teams meetings
- Review and approve the team’s quotes, orders, customer accounts set ups, credits and cases raised.
- Monitor the progress of all quotes and purchase orders entered to completion to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Work with planning on order handover for day to day business, as well as projects team for major project handover after receipt of purchase order.
- Support engineering, planning, purchasing and production with issues related to orders and liaise with team as necessary to resolve.
- Manage NCRs raised from other departments related on sales by conducting an RCA and resolve to satisfaction of quality manager, with clear action plan implemented to avoid a repeat of the non-conformance.
- Work with team on continuous improvement activities related to process and procedures.
- Set KPIs with team, monitor the outcomes on regular basis and work to improve deficiencies.
- Review the performance of team members on a regular basis.
- Review commercial contracts related to tenders/projects with overseas legal, treasury and compliance teams.
- Review any business decisions related to commercial contracts with relevant departments and managers.
- Review local T&C issues/agreements with vendors and suppliers.
- Support state managers and sales reps on customer set up of accounts and management of any vendor portals.
- Review and understand technical and commercial proposals prior to accepting an order.
- Analyse data from CRM and prepare reports on quote numbers, conversion rates, by month/year for direct manager as required for management meetings.
- Use data from quote and order reports to strategize improving efficiency, conversion rates and revenue growth.
- Use CRM data to monitor individual team member performance, whole team performance and provide feedback to team for self-awareness and goals for improvement.
- Perform such other duties, relevant to the position, as may be necessary.
