Job Title: Physiotherapist Level 3

We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join our team in providing senior physiotherapy clinical leadership within the Southern Area Brain Injury service (SABIS). As a level 3 physiotherapist, you will be responsible for optimising client care delivery and supporting the mentoring and development of staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior physiotherapy clinical leadership to the SABIS team, including optimisation of client care delivery and mentoring and development of staff.
  • Facilitate interventions to develop clients' physical and independent living skills to optimum functioning.
  • Assess, intervene, and consult with adult clients via community outreach and inreach, as well as provide services to paediatric clients based on service demand.

Requirements:

  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist.
  • Extensive experience in rehabilitation with a well-developed knowledge of brain injury services and ability to work with minimal supervision as a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills, including collaborative stakeholder consultation.
  • Demonstrated high-level organisational and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical/administrative demands.
