Senior Physiotherapist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist to provide senior leadership within our brain injury service. As a senior physiotherapist, you will be responsible for optimising client care delivery and mentoring/developing staff.

  • Provide expert physiotherapy clinical leadership within the team, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Mentor and develop staff to improve client outcomes, through training and professional development opportunities.
  • Facilitate interventions to develop clients' physical and independent living skills, based on client goals and in collaboration with the team and relevant third parties.
  • Assess, intervene and consult with paediatric clients, responding to service demand.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the provision of senior physiotherapy clinical services within the team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client outcomes, through evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes, driving excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a physiotherapist.
  • Extensive experience in rehabilitation, with a strong understanding of brain injury services.
  • Excellent negotiation, decision-making and advocacy skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to initiate, lead and complete quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.
