Effective Payroll Operations Manager

Job Title:
">Payroll Compliance SpecialistThe key to success in this role is to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data transfer through operational compliance, quality governance, and control frameworks. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our payroll systems stream.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate operational compliance by adhering to quality, governance, and control frameworks.
- Manage vendors to ensure timely and accurate system configuration.
- Support auditors and deliver internal and external audit requirements.
- Ensure the payroll team adheres to best practice processes and assists in delivering training tools.
- Lead continuous system improvement processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading a best-practice payroll function.
- Working knowledge of payroll practices and basic accounting principles.
- Experience in both monthly pay and award/enterprise agreement environments.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.
- Attention to detail and in-depth understanding of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation.
