Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team at Aveo. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.

The Opportunity

Ocean View Retirement Living is a vibrant community located in Banora Point, NSW. As a Disability Support Worker, you will work closely with our residents, their families, and our team to provide personalized care and support. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and be part of a supportive and caring team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective daily personal care to residents, tailored to their individual needs and care plans.
  • Assist residents with tasks such as medical and personal support, domestic cleaning, and general administration duties.
  • Support residents with recreational and social activities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures, reporting any safety, security, and resident incidents.
Requirements
  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Health Services Assistance.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • Current Police Check clearance.
  • Current COVID-19 vaccinations up to date.
