Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.

The Opportunity

Our Ocean View Retirement Living community is a vibrant and supportive environment, offering a range of opportunities for personal and professional growth. As a Disability Support Worker, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our residents, while also developing your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective daily personal care, tailored to the resident's care needs in line with their current care plans
  • Ensure all residents receive kind, caring and respectful personal care that supports their choice and independence
  • Provide assistance to the residents and community with tasks including medical & personal support, domestic cleaning and general admin duties
  • Supporting residents with recreational and social activities
  • Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents
Requirements
  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate (required)
  • Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you)
  • Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up to date (required)
