A 6-month fixed term contract role is available for a skilled payroll professional to join an organisation as a Senior Payroll Officer.

This position involves being part of a team responsible for the processing of ANZ payroll for over 1000 employees on a fortnightly and monthly basis using ADP. The key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the accurate processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls using ADP.
  • Processing pay for Australia and working closely with an outsourced provider to process New Zealand payroll.
  • Maintaining compliance with company policies, agreements, and legislation.
  • Managing leave requests, terminations calculations, employment contracts, company policies, and legislation.
  • Investigating and resolving payroll-related queries.

Preferred skills and qualifications include:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing environments.
  • Knowledge or experience using ADP Payforce is highly beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience working with an outsourced provider would be advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Strong and effective communication skills.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively within a team environment and possess excellent problem-solving skills. They will also be required to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
