We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our friendly team as Events Executive. This is a full-time position based in Mascot, NSW.
Duties include but are not limited to:- Must have a thorough understanding of Branksome Hotel's business strategy and brand positioning and to effectively communicate this in the market.
- Keep up to date with the hotel's services and new developments and monitor industry trends and market intelligence.
- Actively participate in client familiarisation trips, site inspections, sales trips, and roadshows.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of events.
- Assist with maintaining client databases.
- Prepare proposals for conferences, catering, corporate events, social events, and residential conferences.
- Respond promptly and courteously to all phone, email, and in-person enquiries.
- Daily tracking of Activity/Traces reports.
- Evaluate demand by recording enquiries and lost/declined business.
- Provide top notch customer service to ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
- Provide personalised service and handle any complaints, comments, or compliments.
- General administrative tasks, as required.
- Proven experience in events management ideally within a reputable hospitality industry.
- Ability to adapt to growth and change within the business.
- Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Drive to achieve results.
- Excellent interpersonal and business retention skills.
- Attention to details and time management abilities.
- Excellent personal and professional presentation.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office.
- Must be available to work on weekends as needed.
- Full work rights in Australia.
