Join a well-regarded firm as a key member of the leadership team, overseeing people practices and driving strategic initiatives to support ambitious growth goals.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that will see you providing support to department heads and partners on a range of employment and strategic people and culture initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for the entire People and Culture function, including building and mentoring your own team.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic HR Leadership: Provide guidance and direction on HR-related matters to support business objectives.
- Change Management: Lead and implement change initiatives to drive cultural transformation and improve business outcomes.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Talent Recruitment and Management: Oversee the recruitment and management of talent to support business growth and development.
- Cultural Leadership: Foster a positive and inclusive culture that supports employee engagement and well-being.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
- Performance, Learning and Development: Oversee the development and implementation of performance management and learning and development programs.
- HR Operational Management: Provide operational support to the People and Culture function, including HR systems and processes.
We are seeking a highly experienced people leader with a proven track record of delivering results through strategic initiatives and business objectives. You will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' experience in Human Resources, with Professional Services experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience across the core People and Culture disciplines, including IR, Talent, and ODA.
- Thorough knowledge of the Australia employment landscape and HR best practice.
- Change Management experience, with implementation experience highly regarded.
- Experience managing and developing a geographically dispersed team.
- A commercial, flexible, and proactive approach.
- Strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills.
