About the Role

The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workforce and Culture Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Workforce and Culture Team, you will be responsible for providing HR advice and assistance to the NFSA, supporting a range of HR related functions, and contributing to the development of our workforce and culture.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Workforce and Culture services to the NFSA on a range of HR related functions, including recruitment, learning and development, work health and safety, and health and wellbeing.
Complete HR administrative tasks associated with the delivery of Workforce and Culture systems and services, including processing recruitment activities, undertaking policy and legislative research, maintaining ServiceNow ticketing requests, and monitoring probation compliance.
Provide correct and accurate advice to staff and managers to ensure correct compliance, and update team communication on internal platforms.
Actively participate in a variety of small term projects in maintaining, developing, and promoting HR related activities.

Selection Criteria

The successful candidate will demonstrate their capacity against the following:
Demonstrated experience in supporting a range of HR related functions in providing efficient and effective outcomes.
Demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying relevant HR related legislation, policies, and procedures.
Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance workload whilst meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated communication and stakeholder management skills and in being an active member of a small team.
