About the Role

This is a true leadership opportunity in a well-regarded firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the people practices and driving people-related projects that will support the firm's ambitious growth agenda.

The Head of People & Culture will be responsible for building a robust P&C program that facilitates the achievement of the firm's Strategic Plan. This will involve working closely with the Department Heads and Partners on a broad range of employment and strategic people and culture initiatives.

The role will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for the entire People and Culture function, including building and mentoring a team.

About You

We are seeking a highly experienced people leader who has proven capability to deliver demonstrable results through their initiatives and business objectives that are clearly linked to commercial outcomes.

You will need to have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • 10+ years' experience in Human Resources, with Professional Services experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience across the core People and Culture disciplines
  • Thorough knowledge of the Australia employment landscape and HR best practice
  • Change Management experience, with implementation experience highly regarded
  • Experience managing and developing a geographically dispersed team
  • A commercial, flexible and proactive approach
  • Strong leadership, influencing and communication skills
