Job Opportunity: HR Generalist

This is a dynamic and challenging role for an experienced HR professional. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, with expertise in recruitment, learning and development, performance evaluation, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and WHS compliance.

  • Coordinating and overseeing the implementation of firm-wide HR policies and procedures.
  • Providing guidance to leadership on local HR laws and compliance.
  • Supporting L&D initiatives including CLE/CPD tracking and training program development.
  • Assisting with remuneration, benefits, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Driving staff engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Supporting recruitment efforts including graduate and law school programs.
  • Assisting with WHS compliance and psychological safety programs.
  • Managing HR reporting, performance management, and grievance handling.
  • Liaising with payroll on leave and pay queries.
  • Representing HR on internal committees and working groups.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset. They will be proactive, solutions-focused, and have high attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems is essential.

This is a permanent full-time role, although candidates seeking a 4-day week may also be considered. The target salary range is $140,000 - $155,000 + Super based on experience.
