A leading medical defence organisation seeks a Senior Claims Manager for a full-time, permanent role. As a practising solicitor, you will manage member claims and investigations, providing guidance and support in the indemnification of claims. A strong understanding of current health and insurance legislation is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage member claims and investigations
- Provide guidance and advice on claim indemnification
- Formulate a claims management strategy for members
- Partner with Solicitors to support members' claims
- Contribute to the provision of claims services
- Tertiary qualifications in law or health
- A valid practising certificate (highly regarded)
- Previous experience in insurance claims management
- A strong focus on time management and work management
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Proven ability to work in an electronic document management system
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
