Job Summary

A dedicated Nurse is required to provide holistic care for patients immediately following an anaesthetic, surgery or procedure.

This role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, families, groups and communities.

Additionally, this role requires assisting in the provision of supervision and support for less experienced clinicians.

It is essential that the appointed candidate maintains their professional accountability and development in accordance with the relevant standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred evidence-based nursing care promoting positive health outcomes.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Work in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, families, groups and communities.
  • Assist in the provision of supervision and support for less experienced clinicians.
Requirements
  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant registering authority.
