Electronics Engineer Job

We are searching for a skilled Electronics Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

  • The ideal candidate will have a BSc/Msc degree in electrical or electronics engineering and 3-6+ years of related work experience.

The role involves the development of digital and analog circuits for field sensors, contributing to all electronics and optical sub-systems of our quantum sensors.

You will be responsible for managing and growing our in-house electronics capabilities and team, designing, prototyping and optimizing sensor subsystems and custom PCBs.

Other key responsibilities include working with manufacturing partners for timely prototype and series production, debugging and optimizing subsystem and sensor performance in harsh environments, and guiding the future electronics pathway of Nomad Atomics.

Able to work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment, you should be an expert in low noise analog circuit design, RF and MW circuit design, and have proficiency with Xilinx SoCs and toolchain (e.g. Vivado).

Demonstrated track record of electronic troubleshooting and SMT-soldering is also essential.

Please note that a current right to work in Australia is mandatory for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
