About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Specialist to join our dynamic teams in Brisbane and Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and specify instruments for pressure, flow, level, and temperature measurement.
  • Specify and design on/off and control valves.
  • Select control system hardware and design system architecture.
  • Contribute to Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP), and Common Hazards Operability Study (CHAZOP) assessments.
  • Perform hazardous area classification and relevant calculations.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia).
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status (or substantial progress towards obtaining it).
  • Strong technical expertise in Instrument & Control Engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software for detailed design tasks.
  • Solid knowledge of Australian Standards, codes, and regulatory requirements relevant to Instrument & Control Engineering.
