Senior Electrical Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team.

This role involves providing expert engineering services for electrical and instrumentation systems, including design, project coordination, installation, and commissioning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in LV and HV distribution system design, motor control centres, and switchboards. They should also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards
  • Coordinate projects from initial concept to installation and commissioning, working closely with clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct site visits to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve services and solutions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the mining, oil and gas, water, and infrastructure sectors
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and to high quality standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
